RENATA JONSCHER

Polish born Renata Jonscher has a considerable reputation throughout Europe as a mezzo-soprano. Now living in London, Renata has been collaborating with composer Patrick Wilson and Coverdrive Productions. Her videos 'Islands of Sorrow' and ''Eternal Light' are played on Classic FM TV regularly.

CD 1 - 'ENTELECHY'
This is a 6-track album which includes the video 'Islands of Sorrow' (as seen on Classic FMTV) via a PC or Mac player. Here you will find an uplifting mix of orchestral extravaganza, stirring melodies and above all, the beautiful voice of Renata. She is accompanied by the internationally acclaimed tenor Neil Jenkins and his Chorale.

CD 2 - 'ETERNAL LIGHT (LUX AETERNA)'

This CD single features Renata and the well-known tenor, Neil Jenkins, his Chorale and the exquisite voices of the girls of Lancing College Choir.

Written for harp, organ, cello and choir, the music, which is very cleanly produced and arranged, has a notably religious atmosphere: sensitive, beautiful and dignified. The vocals of Renata Jonscher and Neil Jenkins complement each other excellently, providing exquisite harmonies over the instantly appealing melody of the composition.
